Every summer we hire 5 to 6 college kids to live and work here at the lodge. This summer we have Stephanie and Travis returning from last year and new to us is Andi, Erik and Ed. Although it is hard work, the great thing about working at a BWCA resort for the summer is the staff can take short BWCA trips almost every week if they want. There is plenty of time to go fishing and exploring when not working. Our group this year seems to enjoy canoe trips and fishing.

Hey Kids,
You were great finding the owner of the two stray dogs walking the Trail between Trail Center and Nor'Wester the week ending June 24. Your compassion will be remembered by we Maryland, MN, and CA visitors for a long time.
