2012 Sportshow Season

Last year just before we closed on the purchase of the lodge we decided that we should do a couple of sport shows. I went to Madison where Ben Trace and some friends were nice enough to meet me and help with the show. I was nervous and excited for the show. While I had worked a couple of shows before never had I done it where the consequences were ultimately my responsibility. Then I went on a couple weeks later and tried the Minneapolis Show. This time it was just me. I found myself somewhat unprepared since my knowledge of the History of the Lodge and the area was less than I desired but both shows were good experiences. Neither Show filled all of our vacancies but we decided that they were worthwhile. This year we have decided to attend 6 shows. The first show is in Des Moine, where I just finished day two of the show. Then onto Chicago from January 26-29. Then La Crosse from February 9-12 and Duluth from February 15-19. From March 9-11 I will be back in Madison and finishing up in Minneapolis from March 28-April 1. This time I feel much better prepared and am very excited to meet new people and hopefully be successful at conveying to them what makes Clearwater Lodge so special. One of the new things that I have this year, is a new display!
