I took this picture along the Gunflint Trail yesterday because I really like the rock formations and it showed how little snow we have left. Outside of the deep woods almost all the snow is gone. The lake still has a good 18 inches on it so I don't expect to see open water any time soon.To my surprise, I got up this morning and it is snowing out. Looking at the weather forecast we are under a winter storm warning starting tonight and tomorrow and we could get a few inches of the white stuff.
Our spring canoe order arrives tomorrow so I will be carrying in canoes in snow again this year.
